The short version: sign in, open your account page, and use "Delete my account". It happens immediately, we don't ask why, and nothing is retained afterward.
How to delete your account
Sign in at www.anglersintel.net, go to Account, scroll to the bottom, and choose Delete my account. You'll be asked for your password and to type DELETE to confirm, because there is no undo. The deletion runs straight away — there's no queue, no waiting period, and no email to us required.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account, in one go:
• Your profile — name, email, home state, and date of birth • Your login and every active session • Every catch you've logged, including photos, notes, conditions, and coordinates • Every waypoint you've saved • Any pending email-verification or password-reset links
This is permanent. We keep no shadow copy and cannot restore an account after deletion, so please export anything you want to keep first.
If you can't sign in
If you've lost access to your account and can't complete the steps above, use the and tell us the email address on the account. We'll verify ownership and delete it for you. Try the password reset on the first — it's faster than waiting on us.
